[Women's Basketball] Strong third quarter pushes Pride past Mount Mercy

Clarke University's women's basketball team found itself in a tight contest with longtime rival Mount Mercy University after 20 minutes of play Saturday in Cedar Rapids. But the third quarter of the Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup belonged to the Pride. Coach Courtney Boyd's squad, which led 33-31 at intermission, outscored the Mustangs 24-7 in the third stanza en route to a 72-52 win.
