[Men's Basketball] WBC Pushes Past Scots In Closing Minutes

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team erased a seven-point halftime deficit to take a 67-66 lead with 6:16 left to play in the game, but a quick, 10-2, run by Williams Baptist College gave the Eagles just enough momentum to hold off a comeback attempt by the Scots as Lyon fell on the road, 86-80, on Saturday.

The Scots dropped to 12-13 (9-8 American Midwest Conference) on the season, while the Eagles moved to 13-10 (9-9 AMC).
