Floater flywheel grinding stone

Trying to regrind my floaters and hat and looking for a recommendation of what guys are using to grind these. I have a Winona FG5000 and have tried diamond, ruby, and a white stone with not very good results. It's taking too long to grind them and building too much heat with plenty of water and rustlick. I had a composite type stone that came with the machine and was working great but wore out and no numbers on it to identify. I would appreciate any help.
