Матис Калвершс стал 22-м на втором этапе «Тура Турции»

11 апреля состоялся второй этап многодневной велогонки «Президентский тур Турции». На нем спортсменам предстояло преодолеть расстояние в 156,4 км по маршруту Сельчук – Алачаты, сообщает Prosports.kz.

Финишный отрезок дистанции проходил по относительно ровному участку, поэтому этап завершился спринтерской раздачей, победителем в которой вышел австралийский гонщик команды Team BikeExchange – Jayco Кейден Гроувз, сумевший опередить бельгийца Яспера Филипсена из Alpecin-Fenix и ирландца Сэма Беннетта из BORA – hansgrohe.

Лучшим из представителей казахстанской команды Astana Qazaqstan Team стал латвиец Матис Калвершс, пересекший финишную линию 22-м.

В общем зачете первые две строчки оккупировали Гроувз и Филипсен, третью занимает победитель первого этапа – австралиец Калеб Юэн из Lotto Soudal. Из гонщиков «Астаны» в «генерале» выше всех располагается казахстанец Глеб Брусенский, проигрывающий лидеру 26 секунд.
