Aston reserve Drugovich tops Formula E rookie test in Berlin

Felipe Drugovich was all smiles at the end of Monday's Formula E rookie test held in Berlin after last weekend's double round of electric racing at Tempelhof Airport.

The Aston Martin F1 reserve topped the timesheet for Maserati in the afternoon session, setting the second fastest lap of the entire weekend, just two tenths off the best time set in practice by Max Guenther in the same car.

A total of 21 drivers took part in Monday's test, with Drugovich completing 54 laps with Maserti MSG, the second best lap tally of the day.

Reigning FIA Formula 3 champion Victor Martins clocked in second for Nissa, but just 0.101 s adrift from Drugovich, while Barbadian racer and Red Bull junior Zane Maloney was third running with Avalanche Andretti.

F2 veteran Luca Ghiotto (Nissan) and Robert Shwartzman (DS Penske) rounded off the top five.
