Philip Morris, historically Formula 1's most prominent sponsor with a 48-year pesence in the sport, introduced its first Marlboro liveried car back in 1972 when it supported the works BRM team.

Marlboro's presence loomed large in the F1 paddock in the seventies, its colors raced by several teams and countless drivers.
The last F1 car to race with a full Marlboro livery was the McLaren MP4/11 in 1996.
