Coaching Seminar held in Bratislava, Slovak Republic

‘Olympic Weightlifting in strength and conditioning’ Seminar was successfully concluded, organised by the Slovak Weightlifting Federation in partnership with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Comenius University Bratislava.

The Seminar was officially opened by Tomas Chovanec, President of the Slovak Weightlifting Federation and Professor Marián Vanderka, dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport.

Petr Krol and Attila Adamfi, Vice Presidents welcomed the audience on behalf of the IWF as the Seminar was supported by the IWF Development Program.

Lecturers and about 200 participants attended from the Czech Republic and the host country, including many students from the Comenius University.

The Seminar was attended by 3 former Presidents of the Slovak Weightlifting Federation as well, Jan Stefanik, Pavol Mutafov and Dusan Vavrovic.
