Harun Sahinovic dead at 26: Taekwondo and kickboxing champion dies in horror motorbike crash
FORMER taekwondo and kickboxing star Harun Sahinovic has passed away.
The 26-year-old tragically died after being involved in a motorbike accident.
Sahinovic is believed to have lost his life on the motorway near the town of Kovacevac in his homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Local reports say medics rushed to the scene but were unable to save him.
He sadly died on his way to the Center Banja Luka hospital.
The talented fighter born in Buzim won two Continental Cup trophies in kickboxing.
His most recent triumph came just six weeks ago in Sarajevo.
Sahinovic came ninth at the World Cup last year after winning one fight.
He has been described as someone who was “dedicated to sport, discipline and fighting”.
Tributes have flooded in, with one saying: “Rest in peace.”
Another added: “A role model for generations.”
More wrote: “He leaves an indelible void among friends, sports colleagues and all who knew him.”
