Kentucky swimming coach Lars Jorgensen resigns

Kentucky swimming coach Lars Jorgensen resigned on Wednesday following a reported suspension that stemmed from an NCAA investigation into compliance rules violations.

Jorgensen coached both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams, and Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart said the Wildcats will begin a national search to fill Jorgensen's post.
