Bobby Finke makes history at U.S. swimming championships
Bobby Finke recorded the fastest men's 1,500-meter freestyle time ever on American soil as part of USA Swimming's Phillips 66 National Championships in Indianapolis on Tuesday.
Finke, who won gold in the event in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo (held in 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic), finished with a time of 14:42.81 on Tuesday to take first and set a U.S. Open record. It took Finke 29.14 seconds to complete the final
