COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team got off to a strong start to the 2023 NAIA National Championships on Wednesday evening, as both competing relays captured All-American status to put the Blue Raiders in seventh place with 50 total team points after day one.
The foursome of Will Thilwind, Max van Schagen, Chase Hickman, and Tyler King got on the podium first in the 200-yard medley relay, setting a new school record with a sixth-best time of 1:31.83. It is the fourth time in the last five years that Lindsey Wilson has placed inside the top eight in this event.
