Open Water Regional Championships 2017
On Sunday, 2nd July 17 swimmers from KRSC headed to the Surrey Quays near Canary Wharf for the London Region Open Water Championships.
For most it was their first time and racing in fields that were 20-30 swimmers strong. Kingston swimmers did well with many finishing in the top half of their age groups. On the day KRSC had two medalists - Yahia Makky (Boys 15 year old 3km) and Rebecca Gravell (Girls Open Age 5km) - with both being crowned Regional Champion and qualifying for this year's National Championships.
