More little waves to finish the workweek
Hello Friends,
The skies were more cloudy than not this morning and the breeze was coming from the west at 5-7 kts at 0800. Surf out in front of the DYSLC looked to be in the knee to waist high range. There were a reasonable number of folk crowded onto the peak.
Swell was coming mainly from the NE according to the 0700 MHL data. It was 1.2 metres at 8.7 seconds – so, pretty close to yesterday morning. Tide hit the 1.49 m high at 0755 and is currently running out to the low 0.57 low at 1445.
As for the weekend and beyond, if you haven’t already checked it out, the Mighty Goat has set before us a prospect that is not without its pleasing features.
The Bureau tells us to expect the wind to swing to the NE this afternoon and that there’s the possibility of a shower.
Go well with your Friday everyone!

Weather Situation
A strong high-pressure system over the Tasman Sea is slowly drifting towards New Zealand while extending a ridge over New South Wales coastal waters, maintaining northeast to southeasterly winds. Very little change is expected through the weekdays, then winds will become fresh north to northeasterly during the weekend as a cold front and its associated trough approach the state.
