Hello Friends,
Another beautiful morning for the beaches and beyond, but surf options have dwindled away to near flatness. The MHL data from 0700 showed 1.3 metres of 10-second S by SSE swell. As the pictures show, it was way too tiny for the point, and waves were breaking very close to shore and struggling to make the knee high mark.
It looks as though tomorrow will be pretty much the same, but maybe we will see a little uptick on Friday and then, over the weekend, a potentially multi-day stretch of SE swell in the 2-ish metre range…

A high pressure ridge extends over the state, bringing light winds and stable conditions. A cold front is forecast to cross the coastal waters on Friday through to early Saturday, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds in its wake.
