Fun sets around the place
Hello Friends,
A light WSW wind and sunny skies greeted earlier risers this morning. And there’s still swell. It’s about the same size and period as yesterday(1.4m at 13 sec) but is now coming more from the NE. The sets are packing some punch, but I notice that as with yesterday, they can be a challenge to get into at many peaks thanks to the current lack of decent banks situation (often encountered early in the autumn surf season).
Prospects for the coming week are looking mighty fine. We should have sunny skies, morning offshores and non-stop swell through next weekend and beyond, if the models are to be believed. Sunday and Monday in particular are shaping to be something special. It won’t be suitable for beginners, but experienced and fit riders could be hooting Monday morning.
