Easter Monday and everyone’s in the water
Hello Friends,
After an ordinary weekend wave-wise, we have abundant peaks for the abundant crowds at Dee Why this morning. At 0730 the wind was 4-5 kts from the west under partly cloudy skies. The 0600 MHL data was showing 1.5 metres of 10-second period easterly swell. It’s dialled in for the beach (where wave faces on sets looked to be shoulder high), but not really doing much at the point.
The forecast is calling for the wind to stay benign through the morning, but at the same time, the swell’s set to fade as we head back toward smaller, but still surfable, conditions for the remainder of the week.
Go well with your holiday Monday everyone.
