Near flat again
Hello Friends,
Yep, as expected, it’s still nearly flat. If you can manage ankle to knee high little crumblers there should be a few options around. But you’ll want to be keen. The south wind arrived around 0630 and as of 0900 was 12-20 kts. The only energy showing on the MHL directional spectrum chart for 0700 was 1.3 metres of SW 4-second wind bump headed straight out to sea. The forecast is calling for a south pulse to arrive later, the Eden buoy was showing 2+ metres from the SSW at 7 seconds, so I’ll be surprised if that translates into a noticeable improvement for spots out of the wind.
We’ll see what the Goat says when he rolls out his week-ahead forecast, but from what I’m seeing on the models, prospects are not exciting.
The summer waiting game continues.
Have a great Thursday.
