Glassy, tiny lines

0 0
Stopped for a coffee at Mona Vale and watched the action. This set trickled in after I’d been there for about 10 minutes. Absolute corker of a day though!

Hello Friends,The pictures tell the story. Although there’s a strong wind warning for Saturday, it was clean and glassy as the sun popped into view this morning along the beaches of Sydney. It was a great day for beginners thanks to a very small and episodic metre high 8 second period east swell delivering catchable knee-high waves. Tide was hitting low when I took the snaps and by the time it hits 1.6 metre high tide, the NW wind should well and truly be doing its thing.Outlook is for a south pulse tomorrow and SW wind. The Bureau tells us to expect 1-2 metres during the morning, and the weather should be sunny too. Could be a fun one. And then, on Monday we go back to a week of showery weather with onshore wind and a building east swell. If the models have it right, we’ll have to wait until Saturday for the onshores and rainy stuff to back off.Have a great Saturday everyone!
