Sunday looking like a fun-day
Hello Friends,
It was shoulder to head-high on sets with the odd plus in the mix – if you were at a south magnet. Swell was 1.75 metres at 11 seconds from 173°. Wind was 9-11 kts from the west and skies were only partly cloudy. First tide of the day is a modest 1.38 m at 1000. By the time it drops to the 0.56 low at 1530, the wind will be around to the NW and will be into the 15-20 kt range. So, get down there early to avoid the choppy conditions later.
Tomorrow is shaping to be pretty similar to today but with a slightly decreased swell. And, with any luck Tuesday will be okay to good as well.
Have yourself a fantastic day everyone!
Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge extends across the coast, and will be followed by a cold front crossing the south late today through early Monday. A weak trough will then linger near the central parts of the coast, before moving offshore over the Tasman Sea by late Tuesday. Another high pressure ridge will then extends across the coast.
