Tiny but ride-able
Hello Friends,
The shortest day of year started off with a velvety purple pre-dawn sky, beautifully adorned with a glowing waxing moon and fair Venus off to its right. It was around 8 C as your correspondent made his usual pre-ABC surf report photo run. Wind was coming lightly from the west, so the sea was smooth to the orange horizon. Out at sea the swell was 0.9 metres from the east around to SE at 10 seconds apart. That was translating into very occasional waist high sets at the best exposures.
It should be like this all day and again tomorrow for the Surfrider Gardens Surf Swap and Repair event at 1100.
Bring your dough because if it’s anything like last year, there will be some seriously inexpensive pre-loved boards on offer.
Go well!
