Bright and sunny and tiny
Hello Friends,
After days of southerly wind, Sunday kicked off with sunny skies, a faint offshore breeze and a knee high ESE wind swell. It’s even smaller than yesterday. The MHL data from 0600 showed 0.9 m of 8 second wind bump out at sea. But other than that it looks like a brilliant beach day. Not that it’s terribly relevant, but the tide’s currently coming in to the 1.83 metre high at 1155. Beachwatch tells us the water is looking good and currently 23C. It should be sunny all day with a high of 26C along the coast.
The swell models are pointing toward a very slight uptick tomorrow afternoon as the swell starts coming around more to the east. If the more hopeful models are right we could it getting into the fun (chest plus) range at magnets on Wednesday and then going more SE Thursday with less helpful south wind.
Get out there and enjoy your Sunday everyone!
Weather Situation
