The Goat’s Surf Forecast

0 4

Surf forecast issued Thursday 31 January 2025: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Those SSE breezes and the modest swell have not made surfing the activity of choice for most people this week.

Many went back to work, as measured by the Thread Your Way Through Parked Cars In The Street Index..

Kids are frantically getting ready for school (ha) as measured by the Careless Abandon Riding EBikes At Car Speeds on Roads, Sidewalks, Shared Paths, Anywhere Index..

So, not many people have been seen on the beach or in the water since the 40 degree scorcher.

That might change for the weekend if,… well…

No it probably won’t much, with onshores and partly cloudy being the BoM’s forecast for Le Weekend. Warm days will get some people in for a dip, but surfing?? Maybe after the weekend~~~

Saturday: around 1 metre or less at dead South spots

Sunday: ditto, bit more South East

Monday: maybe up just a little, North East windswell

Tuesday:: could be around 1 – 1 + metre range North East

Wednesday: similar

Thursday: starting to come up into say the 1-2 metre range dead South when the wind starts to come up from the South East

Friday: dittoish
