Happy New Year 2025
Hello Friends,
Sorry, no waves for you on the first day of 2025 in Sydney.
If it’s any consolation, the entire east coast of Australia is near flat. From the look of things, your nearest rideable wave is in Victoria.
From the look of this morning’s swell models, we’re facing another week at least of short-period, tiny wind bump.
Summer time. Whatcha gonna do? Wait it out, that’s what!
Go well everyone!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the coast while a weak coastal trough is stalling near the south coast. This trough will be replaced by another more substantial trough bringing a fresh southerly wind change along the southern and central parts of the coast today and tomorrow. The trough will then slowly move along the north coast through Thursday and Friday.
