Micro to flat conditions this morning
Hello Friends,
‘Ti’s flat, that’s what ’tis.
The MHL buoy was seeing less than a metre of 12-second SSE swell this morning, so apart from dialed-in south magnets, it’s below surfable. And even the best places will be seeing knee to waist high bomb sets at irregular intervals. Bit of a dull old day too it has to be said with solid grey skies and possibly a brief sprinkle. Winds are light though, which I guess is something.
This morning’s swell models are projecting sub-1 metre energy levels for the coming work week, with a possible little uptick next weekend.
Oh well, this isn’t untypical for August and the energy always returns. But you knew that!
Have a top old Saturday.
Weather Situation
A southerly change about central waters will weaken during Saturday as a ridge becomes dominate. During the late weekend, another trough may develop along the coast while the ridge of high pressure persists across the south.
