Faded back to small

0 4

Hello Friends,

Another beautiful and cold morning along the beaches for Friday. The swell is just a shadow of its early-week self, but there are still the occasional chest high wave faces to be had at focal points. Mostly though it’s mostly in the knee to waist high range. Swell at sea is 1.5 metres and coming from the SE at 11 seconds apart. Tide was moderate 1.34 m high at 0740. It’s now running out to the 0.6 m low at 1305. Weather call is for partly cloudy skies and a high of 17 – which is 2 degrees colder than the water.

As for the outlook, well, I refer you to the very latest prognostications from the Mighty Goat.

Go well with your day!

Weather Situation

A deep, stationary low pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is gradually weakening, with winds and swell along the New South Wales coast easing in response. A cold front and associated trough will reach the coast later today bringing a fresh west to southwesterly airstream, reinforced during Saturday as another trough moves along the coast. Following this, a new high pressure system is forecast to strengthen over southeast Australia during the weekend before moving to the Tasman Sea early in the new week.
