Saturday afternoon blowy and tiny

0 33

Hello Friends,

Had a chance to grab a few snaps around 4pm this afternoon at Northy and Longy and can report that there was a light easterly junking up a 1.4 m 8 second SE wind swell. Set waves at Northy were sort of in the waist high range, while at Longy it was more knee-to-thigh high. Not many people in the water as a consequence. Tomorrow is going to be a rainy one according to the latest forecast – and Monday to Wednesday looks like being showery too. Wind tomorrow is set to be NE and swell will still be coming weakly from the east. Sounds pretty blah to me, but if you are super keen, there should be few little bumps around.

Gotta run and not sure if I’ll be able to file tomorrow. So have a great Sunday and of course a happy Christmas!

Weather Situation

An inland trough over far west New South Wales is expected to deepen into a low pressure system over the southwest on Sunday. A weak coastal trough may develop over central parts early Monday morning. The inland low and its associated trough moves eastwards, with the low likely to move into the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. There is a high degree of uncertainty regarding the precise movement of this system.
