Unprepossessing Sunday morning

0 26

Hello Friends,

It’s been steadily onshore since yesterday evening as the wind swung back and forth between the SE and ESE. At 0830 it was coming from the east at 8-10 kts and the Bureau tells us by the afternoon it’ll be 15-20 kts. There was a 1.4 metre, 9-10 sec SE wind swell, so although junky, there were at least a few junky waist-plus sets if you were super keen. Skies were more cloudy than not and tide was coming off the 0550 0.5m low as it filled into another swampy 1.88m high at 1220. Despite the dark grey clouds in the mix, the Bureau says there’s only a 10% chance of any rain. We should see a high of 27.

This morning’s swell models aren’t much changed from yesterday’s, ie light onshores in the morning with small eastish wind swell for Mon-Tue before we switch to days of southerly wind, grey skies and the odd drop of rain and temps in the low 20s from around Wednesday onward… lovely.

Have fun, go well and stay happy!
