In line with expectations it’s micro
Hello Friends,
Wind was calm as of 0700, and so was the sea. Swell was 0.8 metres at 8 seconds from 160°, so waves at the best exposures will likely not be above the thigh-high mark. Not that it matters, but tide hits a rather high 1.8 m at 0820. Weather should be partly cloudy as we head to a high of 28, so it’s looking like a great day for a dip if nothing else.
The projected long-period south pulse is still on the cards for tomorrow. Assuming the GFS model has called it, we might see the odd forerunner this afternoon at south magnets and tomorrow morning it should be looking interesting at high tide-tolerant spots.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!
Weather Situation
A weakening southerly change lies over southern parts of the New South Wales coast, while a high pressure system over the Tasman Sea directs northeasterly winds along the remainder. The high will remain dominant during the next day or two, with northeasterly winds persisting until the next trough and southerly change arrive during Thursday and Friday.
