Monday morning and little bumps

Quite a number of folk in the water just north of the surf club at around 0730. I might have caught a lull, but it looked to me like the waits between the waist-high sets were pretty long. Swell was pretty much dead south and 1.4 metres at 9 seconds when the MHL buoy recorded the conditions at 0600. Wind was coming lightly from the north and tide hit low at 0710. Weather was partly cloudy but the Bureau says there’s a 100% chance of showers today.
Swell should stick around at about the current intensity today, while wind is set to go S-SE around midday. Outlook is for the swell to come up tomorrow, but for the wind to be light southerly and the weather showery. I’m still liking the look of the prospects for south magnets on Wednesday morning when we could have light wind early and some chest to maybe head-high plusses in the mix.
