More waves but smaller too

0 6

Hello Friends,

Heading to a hot one (35) later today so it’s nice that we had reasonable surf conditions as the day kicked off. Swell was 1.6 m at 9 seconds from the east, water was clean and 23, while the tide was dropping to a lowish 9.57 m at 1050. Wind was light from the NNW at 0730 and it’s going to accelerate into the 15-20 knot range by midday. As you can see from the pics, there were still a few shoulder high wave faces in the mix, but for the most part, it looked to be more like waist to chest range on most sets.

It looks to me like we should have waves again tomorrow but after that, well, I’m hoping the Goat will have an encouraging word or two when he drops his thoughts on the outlook later today.

Go well everyone!
