Average quality but definitely fun ones to be had this morning
Hello Friends,
Filing late today because I stopped for a splash at Curly on my way back to RealSurf HQ. We have a 13.5 sec south pulse this morning, with swell at sea in the 1.5 metre range. That meant magnets were seeing head high wave faces on the bigger sets. It also meant that the shutdown to makeable ratio was pretty ordinary. Amazingly, at 1100 the wind was still coming only faintly from the NE at 3-6 kts after having been just as light but WNW all morning. And the water is still a tropical 24. Tide was on the run-out this morning as it drops to the low at 1335.
Wondering about the weekend and beyond? Well, check the Mighty Goat’s latest forecast right here.
Have yourself a great Friday everyone!

Southeasterly winds persisting for the next two days before gradually turning northeasterly on the weekend as a high pressure system moves to the southern Tasman Sea and maintains a ridge along the New South Wales coast. The next southerly change to affect the coast is expected early next week.
