The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 27 October 2022

Seven day outlook for Sydney:

What a corker of an afternoon today – Thursday.  You’d say it was Autumn if it wasn’t Spring. (!?)

Lines of small pretty-to-look at swell coming in from aways out from time to time, with a fresh offshore wind in its face. Gave the youngsters and others something to play with.

Westerly type winds (W NW etc) are forecast by the Bureau to continue on and off for a little while, so the surf will be small, but clean on the surface..

The westerlies might also help clean up water quality under the surface from rainwater runoff.

While they will bring up some swell from down South after a bit, most of that looks like being SSW and heading out into the Tasman.

So TG’s best estimates:

Friday: around 1 ish metres Eastish

Saturday: ditto and smaller Due South

Sunday: ditto

Monday: around 1 sh metres or so North East

Tuesday: similar or could be up slightly North East

Wednesday: smaller than 1 metre or flat

Thursday: up a bit 1 – 1+ metres Due South

Have a good one and enjoy yourself.

TG.
