Not a day to be inland

Hello Friends,
Your reporter is at Dubbo this morning and therefore as far from the beach as I’ll get on our little jaunt. Needless to say when I checked the Surfline cam (see screenshot above) at 0815, it was glassy, solidly overhead, consistent – and very busy. I reckon 30 people were in the water.
Definitely not a morning for beginners!
Swell is 3 metres at 13 seconds out of the SSE, so not to be trifled with.
Might try to put up a pic or two from the travels later…
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman sea is leading to light winds in most parts. Another bout of stronger winds are expected into the weekend as a low moves well south of Tasmania pushing a series of fronts and troughs across the coast.
