Another tiny morning at Dee Why

0 278

Hello Friends,

Everything’s perfect at the beach this morning – apart from the waves. Swell out at sea is dead south again and about a metre at 8 seconds apart. So, it’s just going right past us, leaving the surf prospects at close to nil.

It looks as though tomorrow might be up a bit at south magnets, while on Friday the models are currently showing a brief, solid south pulse in the 2-3 metre and 11-12 second range. Plus the wind prediction doesn’t look to bad. With luck it’ll be light in the morning – although weather’s set to be cloudy and drizzly.

Go well everyone and take the mask because 2370 people caught COVID in the last week in our LGA alone.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight will move slowly east this week, reaching Tasmania by Saturday and the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. This system will extend a ridge across most of NSW throughout the week. However, a cold front is clipping the far southeast of the state today, producing fresh to strong west to southwesterly winds in the south.
