Kinda funky on Monday morning
Hello Friends,
Sydneysiders get to bask in at least one sunny day this week. And there are waves. But… the water’s still suss looking and the swell is a mixed bag – head plus sets yes, however, you need to pick your location. I grabbed the snaps at Longy this morning and although the peak near the Lugga was reasonable size, the waves had were difficult to get into and rather flabby looking. Kinda weird, given that the tide’s low at 1050. Wind light and mainly westerly, so that’s a good thing.
From tomorrow we’re back to the showery stuff for at least three days. The wind’s supposed to go southerly later this afternoon and to stay that way through Wednesday.
Go well!
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the central New South Wales coast while a cold front approaches from the west. This front will bring a fresh to strong southerly change to the southern waters today as it moves northeastwards. South to southeasterly winds will extend to the northern waters on Tuesday as a new ridge of high pressure develops along the coast from a high centred near the Bight.
