Smooth lines early

0 101

Hello Friends,

A light westerly breeze as the day got started ensured smooth conditions along the beaches this morning. 2 metres of 8.5 second east swell meant that there were waves of some sort along most stretches. The waves were a bit slow looking thanks to the shortish period, but they were up to shoulder high at the better spots. All you need was a bit of volume and a cruisy approach. Lagoon entrances and the Manly stretch were rated ‘pollution possible’ by Beachwatch this morning. Ocean’s still on 23C and today’s weather should be partly cloudy with a chance of showers later. The wind will gradually swing S-SE later. Tide hits low at 1255.

Tomorrow promises to be more showery with a fading swell but okay wind for the early.  Weds-Fri is shaping to be southerly but at least one of the models shows SE swell building steadily toward a 2-3m peak on Saturday, when we might also have SW wind for the early…

Go well & stay safe!

Weather Situation

A low pressure trough near the northern New South Wales coast is forecast to deepen and extend further south today and tomorrow. A low pressure circulation may develop within this trough and then strengthen as it moves further south during the week, causing southerly winds to strengthen during the second half of the week. Uncertainty remains about the timing, position and strength of this system.
