The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 10 March 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

No, no, no, no, no, and no.

Is the surf any good? No. Currently still up with lots of whitewater. The BoM has a large and powerful surf warning for Thursday and Friday.

Does TG think it will be any good soon? No. Plenty of wind on it and there’ll be some days of onshores when it starts to go down.

Is the water clean? No. Various shades of mud, with stormwater runoff mixing with Hawkesbury River or Harbour or Georges River runout, floating debris, rubbish, and potential?/ likely? germs. Hard to see that settling soon, after the weather of the past few days.

Will TG be going in the water anytime soon? No.

Is it safe to go in the ocean yet? No. See the last one.

Is it nice at the beach? No.

On a positive note!!… it’s great to see the sunshine. and great to finally see the back of that Lazy, Lousy, Low, as it heads off to the South Island of NZ > Good luck anyone there.

TG’s rough guess would be that it impacted around 11 million people in NSW and SEQ in one way or another, many far worse than others.. Thoughts for those badly affected. Help if you can.

The ocean for info>>>

Friday: easing back slightly form Thursday say 2 – 2+ metres South East

Stay happy.

TG.
