Flatness for Monday

0 97

Hello Friends,

No surf this morning. 20-34 kts of NW wind and a metre of 8-second SSE wind swell is not the greatest combo.

It looks from this morning’s swell models as though we could be in for a week or more of the short period stuff. Wednesday morning might possibly offer some waist high stuff at SE spots. The wind call is for not much until late morning, but weather will be cloudy and getting rainy. Tomorrow is going to be both flat and showery with percipitation predicted to be 20-40 mm across the day.

The very long range models currently show the possibility of some reasonable size NE to ENE energy filling in late next week…

Have a top old Monday everyone.

Lots of empties waiting their turn to fill up at the Newcastle coal loaders. A few months from now their cargos will have been converted to a few million tonnes of CO2 which will then trap and re-radiate heat in the earth’s atmosphere for centuries to come. But a few investors will have added to their bank balances, so there is that.
