Ripples
Hello Friends,
A rather hazy morning (hence the grainy look to the pics) with waves in the ankle to knee high range. Wind was coming lightly from the south as of 0730, but we can expect it to pick up as the day goes along. By dusk it should be 20-30 kts SE. But there’s no real prospect of an improvement to the surf size in the near term. And the week ahead? Well, the Goat has rolled out his usual Thursday surf outlook and as always, I commend it to you.
Go well with your Friday and catch you again tomorrow.
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the eastern Tasman Sea extends a ridge to the northern New South Wales coast while a weakening trough is bringing a southerly change to the southern and central waters. South to southeasterly winds will strengthen later today as a cold front brushes the southeast of the state. Winds are then forecast to ease and turn northeasterly as another high pressure system reaches the Tasman Sea on the weekend.
