You’re missing nothing this afternoon
Hello Friends,
After being gloomy all day, we had a brief sunny break around 4pm. By then the wind was 12-17 kts from the NE. No real sign of a wave at Dee Why either. Out at sea the wind bump was 1.4 m at 7 seconds from the SE. Along the beach, as the pictures show, it was a choppy knee to maybe waist high. But there were no takers that I could see. Beachwatch was reporting pollution unlikely along the northern beaches and sea temp of 22C.
My interest in the Goat’s forecast (up soon) is strictly academic as I am currently putting up with my very first kidney stone. And you know, it’s just as much fun as they say. Blergh.
Take care everyone and do your rapid antigen tests before you mix with others. Omicron’s blowing up, so take the mask for any occasions you’re inside.
Weather Situation
A slow moving trough on the Mid North Coast is weakening while a ridge of high pressure extends across Bass Strait. The next trough is expected to sweep across the southern coast on Saturday and expected to reach the Hunter Coast by Sunday, with a southerly wind change in the wake that will be freshening up on Sunday.
