Other stuff

Don’s report this arvo said.. My interest in the Goat’s forecast (up soon) is strictly academic as I am currently putting up with my very first kidney stone. And you know, it’s just as much fun as they say. Blergh.

Oh that is so true. TG’s first kidney stone was in Hawaii a long time ago, so he can say with some authority –

  1. It hurts!!!… A lot!!! , and
  2. It seems to be perfect weather to develop them… hot,  humid, windy. not really sunny at the time, but hot, humid and windy enough to fool you and dehydrate you more than you might think… because you are not drinking enough to flush out the stuff before it can accumulate to clog up pipes.

TG asked the doc, Does it matter what type of drink he should have to stop them happening? eg Water? soft drinks? juice? beer? wine? etc?

The answer: No. Just drink lots of liquids. (Maybe water might be best in the day time though:)

The very Latest NSW Government Covid rule changes – taking effect from  12.01am Friday, 24 December:

And if you’re travelling or not..in more NSW news, double demerits from 24 December 2021 to 3 January 2022. https://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/campaigns/double-demerits.html

Stay well! That’s the best gift that you can have this Christmas or anytime.

Stay happy and laugh a lot!!

Merry Christmas!

TG.
