Waves to be had for Saturday morning

0 12

Hello Friends,

Beautiful morning as of 0630 with sunny skies, soft WNW breeze and shoulder plus wave faces on the bigger ones at lots of places with any exposure to the 1.5m, 14 second SSE and 10+ sec NE energy swell combo. Tide is currently dropping to the 0.66m low at 1045. Water is still on 18C, so most of us won’t be giving up the rubber just yet.

Weather’s set to cloud up later and there’s a 50% chance of shower as we head to a high of 23C.

For what it’s worth, this morning looks like being the best shot at a wave for the coming week. The models haven’t veered away from the Goat’s Thursday call. With luck there will be little bumps to play on right through the long weekend though.

Have yourself a top old Saturday and stay safe!
