Cloudy Friday morning with little waves on tap
Hello Friends,
We had glassy conditions at 0700 on Friday morning. Set wave faces looked to be in the waist to maybe even chest high range on the bigger ones.
Out at sea the swell was 1.6 metres from 165° (S-SSE) at a healthy 15-16 second period. First tide of the daylight hours is a low at 0940. We’ll be back to the high at 1615. Weatherwise the forecast is calling for a shower or two with a possible storm as we head to a high of 24C. Ocean’s still on 18C.
Outlook you ask? Ah, well, we have a freshly baked dollop of Goat-ly wisdom for your consideration.
Stay safe, go well and have a great Friday.

This trough will linger over western parts of the state until late Friday or Saturday, when it finally reaches the Tasman Sea. A further trough is then expected to cross coastal waters on Monday.
