The Goat’s Surf Forecast
The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 26 August 2021: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Large – and powerful – surf today hey… Always impressive to watch the power of the wild boundless sea.
Some more large and powerful surf likely tomorrow too, though easing back a bit from today.
Not for the unfit, inexperienced, or those who do not feel the cold.
Ie those that match a description of younger, fit and very experienced only, need respond to Mother Nature’s tempting invitation to play on the large moving playground she’s providing at the moment.
Some impressive sized sets rolled through today, with very few takers having a go at the bigger spots.. But that’s as it should be.
If you’re unsure about it, then don’t go out. Not the time to test your limitations… or the availability of emergency and hospital services eh?
Friday: somewhere around the 3-4 metre range South East
Saturday: similar or easing back a little
Sunday: easing back more somewhere around the 2 metre mark South East
Monday: in the 1-2 metre range South East
Tuesday: around 1 metre or so South East
Wednesday: ditto though starting to come up a little, later
Thursday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range East South East.
Stay safe.
