Barely there Friday
Hello Friends,
It’s a beautiful morning with light offshores and sunny skies, but the energy levels are ebbing. There are a few very small and weak looking waves around the place as we head into the school hols. If you expect ankle to knee high at the better exposures, your expectations should be aligned with reality.
Swell at sea was 1.1 metres and coming from 167° at 14 seconds apart on the sets. Wind at North Head was WNW 11-13 kts and ocean temp was 19C according to Beachwatch. First tide of the day is the 1.46 m high at 0840. Low is at 1410.
As for the outlook, well it’s Friday morning, so that means we have the deep surf wisdom of the Mighty Goat to meditate upon.
Weather Situation
A low pressure system over Bass Strait is moving east, with an associated weak front moving off the east coast today with mostly west to northwesterly winds. A new high developing over Central Australia over the weekend will continue a west to southwesterly flow across most NSW waters.
