FIFA partner Adi Predictstreet cuts deal with DAZN but doubts remain over its legality
April 15 – FIFA’s new gambling partner Adi Predictstreet has signed a deal with streaming platform DAZN, but question marks remain over its license and personnel.
Predictstreet’s front man Ajay Bhatia had been accused of insider trading in India and that CEO Dimitrios Psarrakis had links to Qatargate, one of the biggest lobbying scandals in the EU Parliament. On Tuesday, Norwegian investigative magazine Josimar reported that Predictstreet’s money laundering reporting officer Colin Piri served a two-year ban in 2018 in Gibraltar for AML (anti-money laundering) failings at his then-employer.
