Historic Times Square scene for Ryan Garcia vs. Rolly Romero fight card
Ryan Garcia and Rolly Romero are stepping into a never-before-seen setup for their main event clash.
Friday’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves show takes place at Times Square in New York, the first time the world-famous location has hosted a boxing event.
Prior to start time, Ring Magazine shared a video of a walkthrough of the ring centered in the middle of the square surrounded by buildings and billboards.
Watch that clip below.

Unfortunately for much of the general public, barricades have been erected to prevent street viewing. That didn’t stop one New Yorker from sharing their vantage point for Friday’s event, which also features Devin Haney taking on Jose Ramirez, and Teofimo Lopez fighting Arnold Barboza.

Garcia and Haney both compete for the first time since their controversial fight in April 2024. In 12-round thriller, Garcia—who missed weight for the contest—won a majority decision over Haney, only to see the result later overturned to a no-contest when Garcia tested positive for a banned substance. Garcia also received a one-year suspension for the infraction.
As for Lopez, he goes for the third straight defense of his WBO light welterweight title. Check out Lopez’s Time Square arrival below.
