Mumbai's Agripada police charged Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel, estranged husband of TV actor Dalljiet Kaur, with cruelty and criminal breach of trust. Kaur accused Patel of mistreating her son and withholding her jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh. The couple, who met in 2022, married in 2023 before Kaur returned to India due to the alleged abuse.
