Bears Gain Major Advantage for Week 1 Opener Against Titans

None of the starters will play in this game, and their status in next Saturday’s game against the Buffalo Bills remains uncertain.

The Titans experienced this first hand today when wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins suffered a knee injury during practice. He is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, according to Paul Kuharsky. The Titans’ season opener is against the Bears on September 8th. If Hopkins misses this game, it would be a significant advantage for the Bears’ defense. Last season, Hopkins recorded 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and 7 touchdowns.
