ARSENAL have lined up their Aaron Ramsdale replacement as they target Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, a report claims.

Mikel Arteta is ready to take advantage of Arne Slot‘s Liverpool transfer and snub his former star.

Ramsdale is set to leave the Gunners this summer

Bijlow, 26, was wanted by Manchester United last summer but the Red Devils snubbed the £22million asking price.

And according to the Mirror, The Netherlands international could now be available for £10m and is on the Gunners shortlist.

Despite having a couple of injury setbacks and no longer being the Dutch No1 he is still highly respected.

With two years left on his contract at the Feyenoord Arsenal will decide whether to press ahead with the shotstopper in the next few days, the report claims.

But Bijlow’s old boss Slot who has just moved to Liverpool is interested in bringing his former star to Anfield.

The new Reds boss may be reluctant to make his first signing from his old side so he does not get tied up in the Dutch market.

Meanwhile, Arteta’s side will sign David Raya permanently from Brentford for £30m after his successful season at the club.

Raya won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award for the most clean sheets this term.

The Spaniard replaced Ramsdale as No1 who is set to leave this summer despite having three years left on his contract – a loan switch is on the card but the Englishman and Arsenal prefer a permanent move.

Both Newcastle and Chelsea have shown their interest in Ramsdale with his value set to increase after he bought for £24m-plus in 2021.

Arsenal let go of their third-choice keeper Arthur Okonkwo while Karl Hein is lined up to become the Gunners No3 meaning their No2 spot will need to be filled.
